SPANISH LESSON, UNIT 2
In spanish the verb to be, is a bit different from English, we have 2 to be!
One to be is the verb SER, it's the normal to be, and the other one is the verb ESTAR which is used for to be in places, or to say your feelings.
I am handsome = Yo soy guapo. Here i've used the verb SER
I am fine = Yo estoy bien. Here i've used the verb ESTAR
Here you have how to conjugate those verbs in Spanish, in the present way
SER ESTAR
Yo soy ----------------------- Yo estoy = I am
Tu eres ----------------------- Tu estas = You are
El / Ella es -------------------- El / Ella esta = He / She is
Nosotros somos ------------ Nosotros estamos = We are
Vosotros sois --------------- Vosotros estais = You are
Ellos / Ellas son ------------- Ellos / Ellas estan = They are
