This is a group dedicated to students and learners of the Japanese language. To us it is not just a communicating tool, it has become a way of life and a direction which has impacted heavily on our influences and choices. We all start somewhere; and as a reason do not judge ANYONE for their Japanese abilities/level. In our group there is no such thing as 'levels' we all start from scratch and gradually build our way up to fluency. It is a long journey which will involve many struggles, tears, pain and laughter.
Eternal fun is just waiting for us. Let's chase it!
it has been awhile
Ok so I feel my Japanese has gotten a tad bit better I can now recognize a few hiragana.I will not lie I do get frustrated and take a rest from practicing bad I know. Sometimes I just feel I am not making any progress because I don't practice the language with native speakers that much since the time difference is so big. I apologize for my rant but I had to express it somehow thank you for listening. Everyone have a great day :)
Progressing
I am progressing in my japanese!.. I am learning my numbers and i learned two new words.. Tsukao, suki.. I am really proud of myself right now because i feel like i am getting somewhere. I hope this encourages anyone out there jto become my friend becuase i am taking this serious!. Hope all have a nice day!
pronounciation differences
Hello, I'm trying to figure out the different pronounciations of the hiragana, so far I've found the r's, and the d's (ra, ri, ru, re, ro, di, du) to sound a bit different, are there any more I should know about, and how do I correctly say them?
the r's seem to sound like rl and then the vowel, is this correct?
and the 2 d's sound like dz?
thanks
