My japanese friend has a boy friend who came from Europe.

One day, my friend complain about him that he is shy so they can't  hold their hands outside,he never say "I love you or any kinds of words."

She feels uncomfortable, her friends disbliving  in her situation.

Many japanese boys or men are not good at continue to expree love to her girlfriends.

But I think that  the men who came from  Europe or America are  more direct to express their emotions.  Even thought it is my stereo type.  

What will you do if your girl/boy frend is shy and  she/he doesn't express their affection to you?

Will you complain ageinst your partner or adapt them  as her/his character?
