School Festival / Kanako at Ibaraki University

 Hello, everyone!

Last weekend, we had a school festival. We call it Shiensai. It was held on Saturday and Sunday. I had prepared Shiensai for a few months to succeed in it. I belong to UNESCO CLUB, in which I do some voluntary work, such as I make a contribution to charity and act as a volunteer, and communicate with Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, or foreign students. I made and sold chizimi in the club. Chizimi is a kind of pancakes and we can say Korean okonomiyaki. Members except Korean had how to make chizimi and chizimi sauce taught by Korean members about one month ago. In addition, we made a signboard and had continued to prepare Shiensai. Last Friday we had no class. So we cut vegetables and made final preparation for Shiensai. More people than we expected bought Chizimi- normal chizimi or kimchi chizimi. Finally, we could sell out of chizimi and we made a lot of success!

I want to listen to your school festival story. When? How did you like? What did you do?

If you find mistakes in my blog, please correct it.
