how can I build up my self-confidence?
Something strage happens to me every time I practise English with a native. I give all my effort to express myself properly but I can't help with feeling like a clumsy alien from an odd and far planet. And sometimes I don't even like listen to myself in the way I express what I want to say...I know it's a quite normal and common feeling and every time I speak about it with a user from The Mixxer, I end up with this advice: "I need to build up my self-confidence and don't be afraid of mistakes".
But, how can I actually do it? It's just not a matter of character or temper: I think is the daily practise what can really help.
In the end, what I want to say is that if you share this feeling with me, don't hesitate to contact me: I would love helping with your Italian or Spanish for some minutes chat in English via Skype!
And, above all: feel free to correct the mistakes you see in this post!

how hard is to find new partners!
It's almost a month since I have created my profile on The Mixxer and I couldn't imagine it was so hard to find new partners to exchange languages! There are lots and lots of English native speakers and I have contacted many, but still I don't find someone who wish to arrange a daily or weekly appointment. I know we are all quite busy, above all during this special time in the year.
