For Japan

This is too emotional for me
to be able to translate into another language, and I apologize if you don't
understand it.

I'm sure many of you have
heard of the earthquake and tsunami that happened in Japan. It was devastating and now
there is a declared state of emergency because the nuclear power plants
that are running on backup. It’s a race against time. People are missing
families and there are homes and roads that have been completely destroyed. The
city is in ruins.

Today I could not keep myself
from crying as I watched the news reports about Japan. I am a very emotional
person, yes, but my heart goes out to Japan, and while I am not
religious, I am praying to whatever deity there may be, that everything will
get better soon. I live in New York City, and I
know people with family in Japan.
I can only imagine how horrible it must be.

At the same time, there are
warnings throughout the world. Countries that border the Pacific
Ocean are in danger as well.

So I ask all of you to please,
please be careful and prepared.

And I want you guys in Japan and
everywhere else that has been devastated to know that while I am not a
significant or important person, I am praying for you.

Be safe, and may God {or
whatever you believe in} be with you.

Much love,

~K-chan
