Talking about portable music player reminds me of a part time job during my high school days. I desperately wanted to have Sony walkman, and after i bought it, but because I often drooped it of which broken very often, and also had to pay the repairing fee. Once the MD walkman was released, I bought it immediately. I often went to a rental shop and rented many CDs and from those CDs, made compilation albums myself. That experience was revolution to me. Everybody was trying their best and sharing those MDs with each other. Recently, MD was obsoleted by MP3 player and lots of peoples used their cell phones as a portable music player. And those who good at using a PC can download music free of charge. Legally or not. I don’t know how to do it. So I still go to rental shop .But recently I rent movies more often than CDs. you know I love movies. Anyway I’m always astonished by the speed of evolution of technologies. btw,"Back in high school, I often listened to Japanese pop like B'z, along with others. My first encounter with English music was when I was 25. I experienced the Beatles' 'Best of' compilation, as well as, the Carpenters' 'Best of' & Queen's 'Best of'. That is all, just the three albums, but I purchased, rather than renting them.
