Hello folks, how are you?
I understand that sometimes having a conversation might be a little difficult, specially when we all start with the same old questions (I'm not criticing it as I do believe this is the best way to start a conversation and get to know each other). THe thing is, after the first conversation, when we already know each other, our likes and dislikes, our hobbys and so on.... the what's left? For this reason I'd like to propose a different chat. Let's gather together to talk about different themes.. What do you think about the end of the world in 2012? Is it scientific proved that if the yellowstone volcano erupts its ashes will cover the entire atmosphere and we will all die? How do you use your facebook to grown in knowledge and culture?
Let's do different.. Together let's try to learn new things and also have the chance to improve our foreign language. Togther we can do it.
Remember, we are here to share. That means help and been helped. If you are interested, either in one on one conversations or conferences, please add me to skype. The more friends we gather the better it will be. But remember, we are here to help and being helped. If you are not willing to speak in your native language too, don't bother joining us.
Thanks
Fernando

Hello everyone,
Hello everyone, I come back today, at this time, I will continue learning Chinese in my free time. Well, at first, I didn't think to learn this language, but when I learnt something about chinese and watched CCTV, I wanted to know more about this language, then I kept to know something from net, and then I contacted someone chinese from this website who has helped me so so much, big thank you for him. Now, I think I will continue learning after long practise of pinyin pronunciation, and I am still practicing them when I am free. I will try to write down the characters that I got, I think it will be helpful to know the characters at first then I will try to know grammar and the other things. I am native speaker in Arabic, I can speak French as my first language, and English as my second language. Actually, I like teaching Arabic my own language, if you're interesting to it, with pleasure to help you. And about French, English, I like using them to communicate with the poeple who cannot understand Arabic.
Thank you all.
how can I build up my self-confidence?
Something strage happens to me every time I practise English with a native. I give all my effort to express myself properly but I can't help with feeling like a clumsy alien from an odd and far planet. And sometimes I don't even like listen to myself in the way I express what I want to say...I know it's a quite normal and common feeling and every time I speak about it with a user from The Mixxer, I end up with this advice: "I need to build up my self-confidence and don't be afraid of mistakes".
But, how can I actually do it? It's just not a matter of character or temper: I think is the daily practise what can really help.
In the end, what I want to say is that if you share this feeling with me, don't hesitate to contact me: I would love helping with your Italian or Spanish for some minutes chat in English via Skype!
And, above all: feel free to correct the mistakes you see in this post!
Good luck everyone and enjoy learning languages!
practise french language
Salut, je cherche des partenaire en français qui puissent m'aider à avoir un bon accent en français, j'aimerais pratiquer et améliorer en niveau de communication, et puis si tu t'intéresse à connaitre ma culture ou apprendre l'arabe, avec plaisir de t'en aider. En fait, j'essaye maintenant faire un blog sur l'apprentissage de l'arabe standard, je l'écris en anglais, mais je vais (inshallah) l'écrire en français bientôt.Qui puisse m'en parler donc ?
Merci beaucoup
a-salamu alakum
Something about the accents in Morocco :)
I hope you are fine right now, with pleasure to tell you something about my country, I just show the few of the few things in Morocco. It has a lot of accents of speaking too, like accent of Berbers or accent of Sahara's people,or northeast accents.... for example here in Marrakesh, we talk to each other by an accent named (al-bahjawiya) haha, well it's the lovely accent that everyone in morocco, personally I like the north's accents, it's like Arabic and Spanish accents, and it's normal, because we are so near of Spain, just 24 km .for now, I meant between us (the young) we use an accent little different than the real Moroccan accent, you can say it's the modern Moroccan accent which we use french Arabic words in the same time, for example :
ça va alik ? (are you okay?) -------- in french (argot accent) (ça va toi?)------ in reall moroccan labas alik?
alik = you = toi (in french) / ça va = you go (good) = labas ------- you see ?
Well next time (inshallah = if allah wants /(god willing)), I will tell something about the special foods here in Marrakesh, my own city
a-salamu alakum ( good bye/ peace to you)
Salut à tous
Salut tout le monde, espèrant que vous allez bien maintenant.Bon, j'ai un site concernant le français courant, je pense qu'il vous aidera à bien apprendre d'autre choses.

The introduction (some Advices + explaining the plan of learning) ;)
Hello everyone !
I hope you were doing great on the last lessons in Arabic.Well,I will do on this lesson, or you can see your first lesson which you will learn seriously Arabic language after the long explaining about the phonetic system, please everyone don't use the system to memories the words, I will use it just to know the pronunciation, if you want to test yourself on the pronunciation, you can contact me or another native speaker, with pleasure to help you more to get the good pronunciation.
At first,I will explain the plan that we will use the learn Arabic, I will do five parts:1-Conversation 2-Vocabulary 3-Grammar 4-Reading 5-writing
1-Conversation: I will write down in every lessons, the famous conversation in (Standard Arabic).
2-Vocalulary : It will relate to the conversation, I will just notice the words and their meaning.
