Ok so I feel my Japanese has gotten a tad bit better I can now recognize a few hiragana.I will not lie I do get frustrated and take a rest from practicing bad I know. Sometimes I just feel I am not making any progress because I don't practice the language with native speakers that much since the time difference is so big. I apologize for my rant but I had to express it somehow thank you for listening. Everyone have a great day :)

最近、湊かなえの「告白」と言う小説を拾ったんだけど、外国人が思うよ…これが難しい!!って！一ページずつでも辞書は焼く４回使わないといけないし、辞書で調べてもなんか裏を読めない気がするところもやっぱり多いし、果たしてこの物語の本質を見切っていないのだろうかって思うね。

今まで読んだ分を意訳すれば、このストーリの主人公が教師で計り知れない不幸な人生を食らった。先ずはエイズに感染された彼氏にだまされて、子供出来ちゃったら、彼が逃げた。そしてシングルマザーとして子供を育ていくと決めた彼女。愛子が凄く可愛いし、ちょっといたずらっぽい子だと分る。その子は５歳？の時ある事件で水死でいきなり亡くなる。死因は事故だと判断され、主人公の彼女はまた不愉快な経験がまた続くのだ。しかし、彼女は悲しみの山を乗り越えようと、着付くのだ。愛子が診断じゃなくて何者かに殺されたのだと。今のところ犯人である可能のある性生徒を二人調べっている。　Ａは女の人？で財布を「防止びっくり何とか―」っていう危険物を作って工作展に発表されると言う言い訳？で作ったんだけど、事は結構Ｍ「エム」で動物を拷問するために使ってるし、その機器で愛子を殺したんじゃないかと思われているそうだ。Ｂのことはまだ呼んでいないけど今度読むつもりです。

やっぱりこの本の表現や言葉は僕には難しい、読みにくい…
（例えばエイズは本で書いてあったのは「後天性疫不全症候群」o┤；Д；├o アァー苦労したよぉ～）

でもストーリは面白いと思うよ！＼(￣▽￣)／もう嵌っているｗｗ

まあ、そういうわけで…皆さんの協力をお願いしたいと思います。コメントは英語でも日本語でも大歓迎だし、「エラーを正則する」…この作者のファンだったら意見も聞きたいし、今まで読んだ48ページの間で何か大切なことを見失ったら教えてくださればと思います。そしてストーリの解決やこれから読む大ポイントをばらさないようにお願いします。＿（＿　＿）＿

Hi all! My name is Courtney. I am in college and studying Japanese. I plan on living in Japan after I graduate and start interior Design over there for at least a few years. So I just want to learn more Japanese and make plenty of pen pals to trade information about Japanese, English, and culture. And if anyone wants help learning some English, let me know! -masen

 

I also learned you can say わかります, or わかり ました.
わかります： I understand just now
You would say "わかりました" when you understand something that has already happened, or that you didn't understand before.

"はたらく" is work.

Japanese practice thus far

Recently I memorized all of my hirigana, and am working on my katakana. Which probably won't take THAT long, but who knows?

 

 

I've been pretty interested in finding a study partner to practice Japanese with. I'm wondering if anyone's interested though? I would really appreciate it!  ^_^

 

Other than that, there's pretty much nothing to tell of my learning progress. I have been having issues with a friend recently. She's been treating me like I'm useless, and that's hurting me. But I know I will get through it! Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
