If you like poetry, especially when it is in another language than your own, then this group is for you. Ever since I was a high school german student I have been writing and reading poems in other languages. I found that writing poetry in the languages I was learning helped me grasp the intricacies of the language that are missed in normal classroom activities. Instead of having to understand a word in a certain context, when writing, reading, and translating poetry, you have to be able to understand the word on many levels. In this group I encourage you to share your poems from any language. If you feel capable, then try translating your poems or those of others.
