Friends and Language

It'd be nice to create a group where you seek to learn BY making friends, talk about you and your life. Learning by sharing.

In my experience as an ESL teacher, people learn faster and better when they talk about what it's meaningful to themselves. My idea is to build a group of people who knows each other and share experiences, opinions, and talk about our lives, just like a small town in the countryside.

Something strage happens to me every time I practise English with a native. I give all my effort to express myself properly but I can't help with feeling like a clumsy alien from an odd and far planet. And sometimes I don't even like listen to myself in the way I express what I want to say...I know it's a quite normal and common feeling and every time I speak about it with a user from The Mixxer, I end up with this advice: "I need to build up my self-confidence and don't be afraid of mistakes".

But, how can I actually do it? It's just not a matter of character or temper: I think is the daily practise what can really help.

In the end, what I want to say is that if you share this feeling with me, don't hesitate to contact me: I would love helping with your Italian or Spanish for some minutes chat in English via Skype!

And, above all: feel free to correct the mistakes you see in this post!
