What would you do if you were late for an important appointment?

Well, that is a good question. And honestly speaking, that kind of situations are quite common to me. So, firstable, I would immediately call the person I had to meet and I would try to explain what was my reasons for being late, but previously, I would had tried to calculate the time when I probably be there in order to ask him/her to wait or just postpone the meeting. I'm pretty sure that during this time I would feel really anxious and stressed so I would probably take an expensive taxi without take the price into consideration, which is something that I hardly never do. So, in order to prevent this kind of awkward situations I try to schedule every appointment into my google calendar and by the moment it results in an effective  solution of my lateness problem. So, once I arrived to the appointment I would say really sorry and probably would give an excuse of something external as a cause of my lateness.

that kind of situations are - "kind" es singular, así que no se puede decir "are", que es plural. O se dice, "That kind of situation is" o bien "those kinds of situations are"...

Firstable - First / First of all
"Firstable" no es una palabra...al menos no en el inglés estadounidense.

explain what was my reasons for - explain my reason
"what was" está de más. Y no se puede decir "was" si va a decir "reasons". Acuérdese de la concordancia entre el verbo y el sustantivo. Por ejemplo: The reason WAS / The reasons WERE

I would had - I would have (habría...)
"Would" y "had" nunca van juntos.

calculate the time when I would probably be there - guess the time I'd be there
Nota: "Calculate" suena muy formal, casi cursi.

I'd feel really anxious - En inglés nos inclinamos más a usar el verbo "to be" en lugar de "to feel". Por ejemplo: I'd be anxious. I'd be stressed (out).

without take the price into consideration - ...taking (the) price...

something that I hardly never do - ...ever...

this kind of awkward situations - véase la primera nota

by the moment it results in an effective  solution of my lateness problem - for the time being, it's an effective solution to my problem of tardiness
Nota: No se dice "lateness".

So, once I arrived to the appointment - ...at...

I would say really sorry - I'd say I'm really sorry.

as a cause of my lateness - as a reason for my tardiness / being late.
