It was the day, what we called Niinamesai on November 23 before war, which appreciated for abundant crop. Nowadays, we think that it’s natural to get abundant crop from grocery store and don’t know where these come from. That’s why the day was enacted as Thanksgiving day in Japan for thanking their work.

On the other hand, working has a meaning that it’s not only labor to product output but mentally work, and these have essential qualities are studied eagerly day by day and they bring people to lively life. It’s very important that people feel like wealth both physically and mentally and they bring cultural property to as a result. This statement was issued into Japanese new public holiday, the author of which Shinichi Ukeda who took in charge of cultural committee in House of representatives.
