Dear Mr. Richard Cunninghan,
I am writing to apply for one of the positions offered to work as a camp monitor, which were advertised in the local newspaper on August 23.
I am a 26 years old freelance animation artist. I am a Spanish native from Spain, although I recently moved temporarily to Central London as a part of an Exchange programme organized by UNED during the whole summer.
I am studying to get the certificate Advanced English in order to improve my qualifications as well as polish my use of the language. As a result, I am capable to mantain a fluent conversation due to my experience working in a café on weekends in London, where I am constantly in contact with English native speakers. Back in Spain, I worked for 2 years as an auxiliar after-school mentor, taking care of kids in a range from 0 to 11 years old.
One of the main reasons I am applying for this job, is that I love children and I really enjoy working with them. Furthermore, I am keen on sports such as cycling, swimming or jogging, as well as a strong knowledge in other interesting areas like survival skills, and first aid.
I would be grateful if you would contact me by email or phone, in case you require any further information.
Yours faithfully,
Lohengrin Navarro.
