And I've never been on this site before.  I guess I never thought I'd find myself so driven to learn something that I'd be willing to talk to someone totally new. I'm fairly shy, so the idea of me ever speaking to a stranger (though that word sounds really mean, I prefer to think of you as a friend I have  yet to make :D) was completely far-fetched.

But being half Japanese and not knowing how to actually speak Japanese is a more than a little sad. I can speak Spanish and English fluently, even conversational French and German, but NOT Japanese.

I've learned a great deal over the past few weeks however, and I picked up on Hiragana and Katakana within a week.

I'm familiar with the grammar rules and the various topic particles in Japanese, but I don't feel like I'll really have a firm grasp on this language until I actually start speaking it.

And that's where you come in, friend-that-I-have-yet-to-make. :3

I can teach you anything you want to know in English and Spanish, and anything about life in the States if you are interested. I plan on living and working in Japan in the future, so maybe you can tell me a few things about getting around on those trains cool

I hope to hear from you soon. x

P.S. I am not a fan of Romaji. But alas, I have yet to memorize what character goes with what letter on my keyboard. :P
