猫舌Nekojita

Today, I would like to show you that a funny Japanese expression.

It is called猫舌Nekojita.

Someone who have a tongue which is too sensitive to heat so that who cannot eat or drink very hot things.

e.g.

I easily burn my tongue, so I'll let my soup cool down a little bit.

私は猫舌だからスープをちょっと冷まします。
