Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
在黄金树林的那两条岔路
And sorry I could not travel both
可惜我不能同时走上两条路

作为一个旅行者的考量,我在分叉路口站了许久
And looked down one as far as I could
尽我所能眺望其一路的尽头
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
直到那条路打弯消失在灌木丛的遮掩下

Then took the other, as just as fair,
然而我选择了另一条路,虽然它们俩看起来没什么两样。
And having perhaps the better claim
但或许它有更好的理由值得我去走
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
因为它荒草丛生,召唤路过者的踩踏
Though as for that the passing there
但说到路过者的经过脚步
Had worn them really about the same
两条路其实也不分上下。(都是那么冷清荒凉)

And both that morning equally lay
那天早晨铺在道上的那两条路
In leaves no step had trodden black
铺在路上的落叶都没有被踩脏
Oh, I kept the first day for another day!
哎,我把第一条路留给另一天吧!
Yet knowing how way leads on the way
可是我知道路是一条接上另一条的
I doubted if I should ever come back
我怀疑将来是否能回到这里

I shall be telling this with a sigh
以后我将会边叹息的叙说
Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two road diverged in a wood,
曾经在林里的两条分叉路
and I took the one less traveled by,
我选择了那条较少足迹的路径
and that has made all the difference.

I learned this poem when I was in secondary school and I remembered it so deeply. Now, I am in a situation which need me to choose. After all  consideration, I decided to choose the less traveled one. May be other people could not understand me, but my sixth sense tell me just go for it and dont regret after the decision is made.
