Hi!
I've heard news that the Japanese government is going to try to change signs written in romaji to English.
I think romaji is very good for people who are studying Japanese.
However, when the Olympic games will be held in Japan, not all the people coming here will be people studying Japanese.
So I think it is a good idea to change the signs to proper English.
I've read an article that Japanese signs are sometimes too strange for native English speakers.
You call the strange Japanese English 'Engrish' ? haha.
I feel that people in Japan should ask native English speakers whether or not a sign written in English is strange.
Have you ever happened to see some strange signs in Japan?
If so, please let me know!! ^^
