Series One Episode Two: Job Offer  Harry is going to receive job offers from three of his friends: Johnny, Olivia and Fadi.  If you remember what kind of work each of them do, what kind of job do you think they will offer Fadi?  Look back at your notes or previous transcripts if you don’t remember.

    1. Prepare to have a similar conversation with your language partner.  Write down questions about work in their country.  Ask your partner about all the types of jobs they have had in their life.  How do people find new jobs in their country?  Would you partner like to find a new job?  Why or why not?  Prepare at least 20 questions.
    2. Meet with your language partner.  Try your best to only speak in English for 30 minutes.  Of course, be sure to then provide your partner with an equal amount of time to practice our native language as well.
  3. Writing
    1. Write a summary of your exchange with your partner on the Mixxer blog. How is work different from your country?  How do people find jobs?  What kind of job would you partner like to have?
