Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I am writing to express my discontent with one of your products. I recently bought some CDs with the aim of boosting my speaking skills in English, but they proved to be ineffective.

 

To begin with, the advertisement misled into thinking the end price of the article was cheaper than it actually was: 20 euros was not the whole package's price, but the price of each CD. Moreover, the publicity stated the product to address the user's participation by asking to repeat the conversations, but it did not give enough time to really assimilate the material. On top of all this, the conversations were supposed to cover pleasure and business language, but there was nothing of the latter.

 

As a compensation for all this trouble, I consider reimbursement to be the fairest measure to take. In addition, had I known the details, I would not have bought the package, especially due to the passiveness of the learning method. In order to avoid future complaints, I suggest adjusting the advertisement. Finally, the product would benefit from being changed slightly to be more interactive with the customer and, surely, being advertised along complementary packages.

 

I hope this advice is taken seriously.
