The graph depicts the main causes of worldwide land degradation, which could be divided into four sectors, over-grazing, over-cultivation, deforestation and other.

From the pie chart, it is obvious that the over-grazing is the most important factor of land degradation which occupy around 35%. However, the percentage of deforestation and over-cultivation should no be neglected because its occupy total in 58%.

From the table, the data showed the percentage of causes of land degradation in XX, XX and XX area in 1990, different with XX and XX, the over-cultivation sector occupy 3.3% higher than other two sectors. However, the total land degraded of XX was 5%, less than other two regions. In XX, the total land degradation reached 23%, higher than XX and XX.

In long term perspective, land degradation will have bad influence to our life and next generation, we should protect the land from now on.
