Dear partner,

We finished a cooperation agreement in April 2019 between the Universidad Autônoma de Madrid and the UNESP from Brazil. This agreement intends to foster academic cooperation through research projects and/or the exchange of teaching staff, researchers, and graduate and undergraduate students, with mutual recognition of the courses taken at any parties. In 2020 and 2021, we didn't indicate some students as exchange students due to Covid-19.

Now, we are in a better situation, and we would like to select three students enrolled in Nutrition and/or Sports Science (both undergraduate programs) from UNESP as exchange students. According to that information, we must indicate these students between September 01 to November 15 for the student to take classes in the Spring Semester 2023 (from middle February to June). Is that right? We found important information about exchange students on that website. Is there other essential information to see before starting our selection process?

In our agreement, students involved in exchange programs shall pay academic fees, if any, at their Home Institution. Remaining expenses (travel, accommodations and the like) of course, shall be borne by the student. Otherwise, are there other payments related to exchange students? We are asking that to prepare our students for their period in Spain.

Finally, we identify from this website that the exchange student must show a Certificate of Spanish Language (at least B1 from the Common European Framework of Reference). Is there a specific list of certifications or any certificate with the reference "B1" that can be used by the students?

Thank you for your attention and your support.

Best regards,

Language
