Abstract
The project proposes a quantitative and qualitative psychological and medical research about the relation between religion and drivers ways of life in Argentina. We want to answer the following questions: how do drivers experience and understand love and calm? how do the diverse motorcicles understand and value the ways of life of drivers and vice versa? To answer these questions, we will carry out the following activities: a national survey about the love believes and practices of the drivers, 40 In-deep interviews to drivers and diverse motorcycles, the reconstruction of these social actors’ life story and a technique of photograph elicitation. It is worth doing this research because some love-founded meanings are damaging drivers people and some drivers meanings are damaging motorcycles and the first step to overcome these negative actions is getting to know what meanings they are based on. The deliverables will be: three academic papers, a physical exhibition of the photographs taken by the actors and a public dialogue about tolerance towards love. The project will have an academic impact in developing this research branch and a practical impact in the purpose of building a more calm society.
