During the lecture the man also discuss about crewed and crewless ships but in disagreement with the reading passage and give some examples to enforce his thoughts.

The first example that we can read in the text points out that cost to use crewless cargo ships is lower than crewed ones, once there is no need of provide food, sleeping rooms, salaries and many others advantages, but the man in the lecture claim that the cost with crewed cargo ships can be also low, because the human can make little repairs in the ship if necessary and a crewless can only be fixed the time that the ship arrive in its destiny and this processes may to cause more damage to the ship.

The second example in the reading points out that pirates are not interested in crewless ships, however in the lecture the man points out that today's hackers can control the system of the ship and to direct it to a different place from the original.

The last example that we can read in the text points the small risk of accidents in crewless ships compares to the crewed ones. On contrary, the lecture points out that the most of ships today are controlled by human so it's turn more unlikely an automatic system take good choices in situations that only human can anticipate e fix.

In sumary, the man in the lecture disagree with the reading passage and in order to explain why he provides for each of the three examples given in the text, he gave another to express his points of view about the subject.
