I took a break with learning English a week ago. It wasn't intentional; just my personal situation led me to that pause. It's always interesting to observe how quickly your confidence decreases during such pauses. It feels like in a couple of days after taking the pause, various fears begin to attack you and your ability to speak. At the same time, I really think that it might be a good instrument to step aside and see what your real level of proficiency is.

I wake up morning at 7:30 a.m and going at work , was a tired day , in go back a way I buy books as long as wanted to buy and read it , come back in home very tired take a shower then open the books for reading  

Hello, I am trying to learn 10 words or expressions every day. It doesn´t seem like a big challenge but it takes time anyway.

In Peru, during first months of COVID 19 pandemic I was living on a stric lockdown in my house. I didn't realize that stress was affecting my mind. Constantly, I was on defensive way with my relatives I didn't have patient for understand them and I argued with them. 

Sometimes I play chess online. There's a couple of really good sites on which one has the opportunity to play with chessplayers from across the world. You can also learn to play, watch chess championships and do many other useful things. However, as it comes about among people, personal ethics determines what's going on between players. We all want to win, and that might lead to tough situations.

Hello, i am trying to learn english, i want to speak it and improve my skills .

My name's Lini, I'm 60, I'm from Brazil, I studied English a long time ago for 3 years but I never had an opportunity to speak with natives or anyone. I come around here looking for a partner that speaks with me and to learning together, but it's don't easily find this person. I write but don't have an answer. There will be any wrong with me? With my age or with my original country? Those are questions I do to myself. That's happening only to me or are there others experiencing this too?

This is a kind of technical topic, but it is something I like because this technology has the power to change the way energy is produced in the world, to fight against climate change caused mainly by carbon dioxide produced by combustion of fossil fuels like coal, oil, natural gas etc. Green Hydrogen is a technology that is becoming important and is in the spotlight of different researchers around the world who believe this is going to be the future of energy production.
