It is on December 31, what we call New year's eve.

Nevertheless, I have no plan and sat in and relaxed at home.

Since it's special day today, might as well have dumplings and beer.

I'll work out harder next year in order to get more experiences. 

今日は12月31日、大晦日です。

といっても特に用事もなく、家でダラダラ過ごしています。

しかし、せっかくなので夜は近くのレストランで餃子とビールを注文しようと思います。

来年は多くの経験が出来るように頑張りたいと思います。
