The entire world is anxiously looking at the United States where this time the presidential elections are so dramatic and unpredictable. Both candidates still have their chances to win, but the country is split up in the way it has probably never been.
I have some colleagues and good friends there which helped me adapt to American reality when I lived there as a visiting scholar. I'm worried about them. I also think that the result of the elections will greatly affect the world politics and current affairs. To be honest, I really think that the result will outline our future - in Russia and worldwide.
Most of my American and British language partners and theater colleagues are not Trump's supporters, but I also have a friend who tends to be his adherent. My personal pray to God is to allow people of the States to elect a person who would really care about them and their country. America currently needs it as never before. For years the country has been a real model of democracy for many eastern states and it should keep going this way despite all crises and challenges. I wish them to get over this hard times.
Love you!
