I read an article about how anxiety affects your process of learning foreign languages. The article said that when you are in a bad mood until the extreme to be in an anxious stage the time you are trying to learn a foreign language then you have a high probability you lead with hearing problems. The article doesn't explain the causes, however, I can guess that is close related to the syndrome of missing attention. When you have an anxiety attack your are busier in have things under control that in things happening in the present moment, even if they are the source of your episode of anxiety. This is a perfect example that 'what was first. the egg or the chicken?' Because the more you think how embarrassing is the moment the more anxious you get.
