Some people consider that these days, we are living in technology era, since we have been turning into slaves of it. Now, is almost impossible to imagine us living without cellphones, tablets, computers, etc. For our children is the same. Even schools have been changing, in order to show kids updated information. Therefore, in my opinion I disagree with the statement mentioned before. In the following lines I would explain my position in detail.

First at all, it is quite understandable why parents are concerned by this issue. Nowadays, children spend hours with technology gadgets, and even at school, it might be challenging to take them away from cellphones. However, for that, in my point of view, it is essential, to put some limits on classes, and as parents, we have to support the school rules. For instance: I have a son, he is 10 years old, and for pressure, I accepted to give him a new cellphone. Despite, I put only one condition to buy that, he must spend certain hours on line, after doing his homework. If he does not follow the rule, I will confiscate the cellphone. Also, I cut his internet access when he is at school, to support his concentration. In addition, I believe technology has plenty pros to help education process.

As I mentioned, there are many reasons why technology seems to be an excellent tool for education. Valuable information is on the net. While, as a child I remember I had to look for reduce and outdated information in books at the library, now, children are separated from information just for one click. Learning process has changed over the time, today, schools have facilities which help them to learn, for example: projectors, computers for each student, internet access and more. For me, that is huge step from what we had before.

In conclusion, I firmly believe education process has improved thanks to technology. Even though cellphones, games, and social network appear and take valuable time from our kids. It is crucial to put limits on the time our kids spend on line, in order to prevent that our tech ally change to our enemy.
