The flight that took me from Bologna to Rome was the flight X, whereas the flight that was supposed to have taken me from Rome to Zurich was the flight X. My ticket number was X. Due to bad weather conditions, my flight from Bologna to Rome was delayed for about one hour and a half. By the time I arrived in Rome, my flight to Zurich had already departed. The next flight to Zurich was meant to arrive at Zurich airport at 17:00 h. I was flying to Zurich for a job interview at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. I needed to be there at 13:00 h. When I phoned the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology to tell them about my delay, they said that it was impossible for them to reschedule the job interview. Therefore, I lost my job interview. Since there was no point in flying to Zurich anymore, I asked the staff of airline X to send me back to Bologna as soon as possible. I came back to Bologna on the X flight on March 3. I would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the tickets, since the flight delay made my trip completely pointless. Moreover, I was also supposed to fly from Zurich to Rome and from Rome to Bologna, also with airline X, on March 4. The flight that was supposed to have taken me from Zurich to Rome was the flight X, whereas the flight that was supposed to have taken me from Rome to Bologna was the flight X. My booking code was X.
