como estas?    ---->   is like to say   " how are you?" only in questions to greettings

example :   hola (hi) , como estas ? (how are you?) , que bueno (that is good) .

como esta o esta?  OR   como esta o esto?   ----> is like to say   " how this or this?"  only is used when somebody this asking for both things or this or the other 

example :   Im confused (estoy confundido) , is how this or this, sir? ( es como esto o esto ,señor?)

....como esta .  ----> is like to say   " like this  "     only is used when somebody is finishing a topic and is showing something 

example : ... that was all , now i will show something important and will be something like this !

                      (eso fue toodo, ahora les enseñare algo importante y sera algo como esta ! )
