Building new factories in my city is always supported by government and people. This will help the state’s economy, create new employees and attract diverse types of investments. But I believe that factories should be placed just outside of the cities because they require a large territory, also usually they produce pollution and noise as well. It is known that inside of the cities are houses and families that require peace and calm day-to-day. Even though industries could bring a lot of benefits to the city, living near to one factory wouldn’t be comfortable at all for me and my family.
First of all, health is one of the most important things to take care. And it has been demonstrated that poor air quality of places located close to factories is presented in comparison with places where there is not. Breathing different types of dust produced in the industry will be definitely noisy to breathe. Especially with children and old people. This can produce different respiratory diseases. Second, is probably that families living near to factories have to deal with traffic and machine’s noises, which definitely can alter their quality of life. People like running, going for a drink or taking a walk near to their houses instead of listening noises all day long and being surrounded by a factory.
On the other hand, an industry might be helpful to families because the companies can offer different jobs to people. So that, people may assume the consequences and accept to live with factories in exchange of a good employment. Fortunately, this is no my case and I definitely prefer to drive outside the city to my job, while I’m living in a calm zone where I can enjoy of fresh air and green places.
