I am writing regarding to a parking fine I have recently received.

Two days ago, I parked my car in a place apparently legal because didn’t see any no-parking sign. Nevertheless, when I returned to take my car I had a fine on it. I was so confused that I carefully looked around until, surprisingly, I found a no-parking sign hidden behind a tree.

I consider this fine totally unfair because it is nearly impossible to see that prohibition sign. Consequently, I have taken up this matter with a lawyer, who has advised me to contact you in writing.

To solve this matter, I request you to cancel the fine imposed without delay or I may have to appeal it.
