When we talk about modern society, it can't be denied that technology affected many aspects of our life and certainly, communication is also included. The changes technology brings aroused some debates on whether these changes are negative or positive. Some people think that these changes bring a lot of benefits to our daily life and however, others hold that they actually making people farther away from each other. As far as I am concerned, technology helps a lot for people to interact with each other. The reasons are as follows.

First of all, technology making the ways we exchange information more convenient. In the ancient time, the only way we can communicate with each other in a long distance is writing a letter. But now, technology brings many new ways such as phones, internet and television. By these new means, we can transfer not only the writing messages but also sounds and videos. What's more, they are instant and more convenient and reliable.

Furthermore, because of technology, especially some software and websites, the relationships people build also become different and more interesting. Twitter, for example, changes people's way to make friends and to share their life. Dating websites also helps a lot of people form a family. It is pretty obvious that without technology, two people who grow up in different families and different places are harder to build relationship and however, technology brings limitless possibilities.

Of course, there are also some influences not that satisfied. People also complain that people found by dating website are usually not that reliable and these websites change the traditional view about love, dating and a serious relationship. Many teenagers and even middle-aged adults are addicted in mobile phones, leaving their real life alone. Although these phenomena truly exist, as for me, people shouldn't blame technology for their own mistakes. Technology is powerful and thus we should use it wisely.

To summarize, according to the reasons I gave above, the change that technology brings is actually a positive development. It makes communication and building relationships more easy and convenient and also gets people closer. All we need to take into consideration is how we use technology instead of whether we should trust it.
