Teaching is not only one of the hardest works but also can be the most rewarding and exciting job in the world.
Apart from loving their subject and having excellent subject knowledge, it is important that has the capacity to influence its students in a positive way, instilling good habits, values, customs and above all encouraging a great conscience. It demands a great varied of qualities such as: be creative, communicative, true vocation in teaching, enthusiasm and so on. As we can see, a large variety of strength or virtues are required becoming the perfect teacher.
On the other hand, the way I see the discipline in the classroom is important. We cannot ignore that a good teacher need to be able to control a class, because without good discipline nothing worthwhile can be achieved.
The most important challenge of a teacher should be that children want to learn. It has to influence in their pupils the love for learning and encouraging to better students every day.
From my point of view, great educators would be a good example to their students. Your students look up to you. Having an appropriate model or a good acting and respect different opinions, in order to become someone they can admire and trust.
