I hold a B.Sc. in Genetics and a Ph.D. in Chemistry. I have lectured on Analytical Spectroscopy at X University for two years. My classes consisted of thirty to forty students, to whom I taught the theoretical underpinnings of Atomic Spectroscopy. Although I have only taught Chemistry, I am also perfectly capable of teaching Biology, since I took a wide variety of Biology-related courses while pursuing my B.Sc. I have experience in marking exams at the university level. I am more than willing to train for a Level 5 teaching qualification. Thanks to my more than ten years of experience as a researcher in the field of Physical Chemistry, I am well-organized, I prioritize my tasks, and I work well under pressure. I am always willing to work beyond normal hours in order to help my students to master the contents of the course. In addition, I am a deeply empathetic person that is able to motivate and provide support for students that are going through emotional difficulties. I have excellent communication skills in English, Italian, and Spanish. I thoroughly understand the concept of equal opportunity and I abide by it under all circumstances. I strive to continually improve my professional performance and I promote the same attitude among my pupils and colleagues. Health and Safety are of utmost importance for me. Consequently, I always maintain compliance with the regulations stipulated by my employer. Finally, I am legally entitled to work in the UK.
