My name is Julian and currently I am pursuing a degree in Sociology at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I have seen your official announcement for a job with Human Rights First in the NGO's official web page. I am very interested in the work, but I have to finish some projects which I have committed to do. Hence, I will be available to start work in two weeks.

My interest in your company come from a few years ago. In 2014, I had the opportunity to know some of the projects of the NGO -especially those related with fighting discrimination. Indeed, I have been specializing in those topics. My degree work is about inclusion of gender language in peasants of Boyacá, so I am not only interested in your work, I know the topics and I have prepared for work in those.

I have done some practices with the Observatorio de asuntos de género (gender issues observatory) at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Therefore, I have experience in data collection and analysis -what is very important for the work. Referring to methodology, I have some knowledges in Hermeneutic method and about theory, I have specialized in Donna Haraway and Simone de Beauvoir. As you can see, there are several links between my knowledge and experience and the job offer.
