Dear Sirs,

    I do a bachelor of Psychology in the University of Strasbourg and I would like to study in your university the next year, for my third year. I live currently in Strasbourg in a little apartment without my parents, who live at 200 km. So, I’m used to live alone and to be independent. I want to become a teacher in elementary school and kindergarten. Therefore, after my bachelor, I will do the master MEEF (Job in Teaching, Education and Formation). I have always been a good and conscientious student, who always wants to do my best.

    I think that moving abroad is an excellent way to improve my general knowledge (essential to be a teacher), open my mind in other habits and culture. Then, of course, acquiring a new maturity (even though I’m already pretty mature). Moreover I have always been liked travelling and discovering news things because I am very curious.

    I’m particularly interested in traveling to the United States because I have always been wanting to discover this Country and the best way to find new Region out is to live there and why not studying there (but not just visit during 2 weeks). I don’t know if it’s because of the « American dream » with all the US-movies and books, or another thing but It was always been my dream. I wait this moment since the begin of the bachelor (witch I know that it’s possible).

    In my free time, I ride horses for 10 years and I play piano and sing for 3 years. I also like drawing and take photographs. I exercise a lot too : running and gym. Moreover, I’m volunteer in an association (AFEV), witch I take care of a disadvantaged child 2 hours a week. I help this child to do her homework, we move out to the cinema or the swimming pool or we just play some games or talk together. While my holidays, I go in a retirement home near the village of my parents to talk and play some games with elderly or make a show, which I play piano and sing. During my Hollidays I do some activities with children in a christian association. During my free time I do some babysitting for extra money. Finally, I like meeting my friend and spending time with them. (I can give you a paper attesting all this volunteering if it’s necessary). 

    When I was young, I went to Egypt and Gran Canaria with my parents. But during 7 years we hadn’t returned on Hollidays because my father always worked. But 2 years ago, I was in Greece with my mother for a week. It was amazing because the culture and the architecture were very different than in France. Furthermore, the last summer I was in Spain with my Best friend during 2 weeks. It was fabulous because we were just together and independent. Finally, I will work in a ranch (with horses) in the United State in California (not far from Los Angeles) for 2 month with the program named « woofing » before hoping integrating your school. I have already found the ranch and signed the deal. If I can study in the United State the next year, It will be easy for me to go to the university because I will already in the country. I think that it would be a great opportunity to see one part of the US culture with the ranch, the country, in the big campaign, then a second part with the American cities. Finally, I will improve my English during 2 months, so I will already used to « live » in English. I would be honored to be accepted in your school and it would be a major advantage for my future career.
