Today is the beginning of the happier month of the year. Even in this difficult moment for most people in Colombia and in the world, there is a sense of hope in the air, caused by the advent of Christmas. Lots of people just want this year to finish hoping the next year all the covid-19 problem be left behind. Here in Medellín, yesterday at midnight, people burned fireworks to celebrate the beginning of December. That is a tradition that has been done for around the last two decades. To burn fireworks is forbidden by governmental authorities, but people just do not care. Personally, I don't like to do that because it is a heritage from bad people in Medellín.
