I know that as the years go by and we get older we naturally start waking up earlier than we used to do when we were younger however, I never imagined that at the age of 45 I would start experiencing this so called natural phenomenon. I've been waking up at around 4 a.m for some days naturally, no alarm clocks, no wearables that could start vibrating on my wrist in the middle of the night, no nightmares, that is, no gadgets at all that could wake me up! At least I don't feel tired or sleepy throughout the day that's not bad. Initially I thought it could be too much caffeine but I don't think I drink too much caffeine, my daily intake is four small cups give or take so caffeine can't be blamed for my disrupted sleeping. Excessive sensorial stimuli from devices such as cellphones, tablets, computers, e-readers etc? Maybe! In this information obesity era we live in it's hard to cope with all the information that pops up before our eyes. I prefer to believe that the excessive sensorial stimuli is the real villain of my disrupted sleeping rather than my age because devices I can just turn on and off as I please but aging I can't. By the way I started writing this paragraph at 4ish!!!
