I disagree with the idea that live performances are much better than watching them on television. There are mainly three reason. First, going concert or sports game takes a lot of money. It costs at least 3000 yen or so and, when it comes to watch them on great seat, it costs higher. Otherwise, watching on television is almost for free by watching commercials. Second, watching on TV gives their performance to us more dynamic way than live show. TV live takes a lot of costs and human resources. Also they are all professional directors and cameramen and anchors, who make more dynamic and vivid pictures. Third, watching them on TV is portable. We are able to carry TV shows by using smartphone or tablet, so we can watch TV live performance many times and whenever, wherever. Meanwhile, attending a live performance is only able at one time and one spot. That’s a great loss of time and money. On the other hand,We should admit that we can only feel lively vividness or dynamics in live performance. But that’s not have pretty much importance. In conclusion, it is much more better to watch performances on tv than to attending live concerts or sporting event.
