Hi everyone!

As I'm trying to get an English certification, I've just written a synthesis based on a text.
Here is the website where the text comes from: https://www.certification-cles.fr/certification/epreuves/exemples-de-sujets/exemple-de-sujet-cles-b2-anglais-279472.kjsp?RH=1500459045549 (only text 1).

I would be very pleased if you could correct me.

You can define counterfeit as an imitation of goods. It could be both material goods such as luxury products and intellectual goods.
At the beginning, imitation was a way to express admiration about a product. However, this phenomenon has become common and both companies and governments expressed concerns about it.
Fake goods represent an important loss of money. International counterfeit market has been estimated at around $250 billion in 2007 which represents 5-7% of the world trade.
Selling and buying imitated goods has increased in the last few years for many reasons. First, many countries do not have strong intellectual property protection. Furthermore, as the exchange of goods on the internet is growing, it became easier to sell counterfeit.
Last but not least, a part of the population does not have enough money to buy expensive objects and cheaper counterfeit are more attractive.
To fight against the rise of fake goods, many compagnies launch lawsuits in order to root out impostors. Simultaneously, governments are implementing harder laws in order to discourage those who are buying fake goods.
