"La rosa" is a flower. It could be rose or not. Red and white are more common.

 

"El naranja" is a colour again.

"La naranja" is a fruit. The orange tree is called "naranjo"

 

"El cura" is a catholic priest.

"La cura" is the healed of an injury.

 

"El coma" is when a person is like sleeping because an illness or and accident.

"La coma" is a sign of punctuation.

 

"El disco" is something round and flat. It could be a DVD.

"La disco" is the sort for "discoteca" a place where you go dancing.

 

"El capital" is the money of a person, company or country.

"La capital" is the main city of a country or region.
