In my opinion and as I read some articles written by professors in the United States, uneducated people tend to be more religious. And the fact is, from the viewpoint of history, religion always causes the war. I never say being religious is not good or something like that at all. What I want to say is the most important thing is not to be ignorance. It’s often said Japan used to be relatively peaceful when it was a closed country at 18th -19th centuries. I'm not sure how peaceful it was, but at least there was not a huge war against foreign countries. Today in this world, as the world is getting connected by diplomacy, economy, trading, the Internet, and every nation including even mutual enemy countries can't be separated from each other. What happened in a small country can change the world. So I think knowing and understanding this world issues are indispensable and as GCED is spreading more, the less wars happen. Although the United States, one of the very global country as far as I’m concerned has been involved some wars, so I can’t say I absolutely agree or not until I hear some opinions from other participants.
