I am learning English so that I can become bilingual. It is necessary to be bilingual and fluent in English and French in order to obtain the position that I hope to apply for. I will need to complete a job application, and my language abilities will need to be assessed. If I am successful, there will be more job opportunities available to me. I enjoy listening to English motivational speeches online. I also enjoy watching my favorite movies in English ( Last Samorai, Last Mohican, In the mix, The not book, seven years of seduction, The great debaters, etc ). This helps me to learn. I have been using “Mixer” to find speaking partners for the last six months. My English speaking skills have improved during that time. I enjoy translating excerpts from movie scripts into English. Proper translation can be difficult at times, but it helps me to learn.
