The Green Bird

That was the green bird -they said-
High up on my window, upstairs,
I couldn't see it well,
So I had to take the stairs,
And climb the other way.

The bird flew away,
I became sad that day,
And of the cat I made a semi-parcel
And 'meaw-meaw,' left him 'n the roof,
Until the bird, brilliant and blue, a bit green,
Softly stood on the TV antenna:
The cat freed hisself; he kissed that big bird,
That I've never, ever, seen again.

The End.
