The most difficult experience I faced was in my work when a pump disappeared. My boss and I realized immediately that the equipment was stolen by one of our work mates. The first I did was to suggest at my boss reviewing the recordings of the security cameras but the storage capacity of the system was not enough to identify the guilty because we realized that the pump disappeared more than fifteen days after the moment it does and the storage capacity of the system is no more than fifteen days. So, as the leader of the team, my task was to communicate at my work mates the situation over the pump and making some questions about if they know something but they said they don’t know anything over this issue.
During this period, there was a work mate who had quit the job and we assumed that he probably was the person who steals the pump but we are not pretty sure, really. The final decision was to put new rules in the working area. One of the rules was to restrict the access at some places of the area, like rooms, in which there are more expensive objects.
Another hard situation I faced in my work was when I had to give an ultimatum at a person who was under my charge because he was so many days without going to the work and my boss requested to me to talk with him because he wanted to fire him. So, I inquire a lot about how to handle this kind of situations in Internet and the way I found that likes me more was to give one last chance to the person. So, I suggested this to my boss and he agreed with me. Thus, the next day I talk with the employee and gave him the last chance but he didn’t take it since he didn’t come back never at work.
