How about to take a sabbatical?

Here in Brazil is not common we heard about people that take a sabbatical. Here people are proud to be a lot of time in the same Company. For example in the company I'm working now there are people who are here for thirty years!!!

I'm here for eight years and I wont take the same road they did. I know i should change my life a little years ago. I had good chance to do this, but I didn't. Now, that I know the company will fire me, I'm think about take a sabbatical. The only problem is that I have no money. Actually it isn't the only problem. I have family too. Maybe my husband won't agree with take our daughter two-year-old and go in a adventure with me. Maybe he agree.  Who knows?
