I am a Ph. D student in the Department of Political Science at the University of Tsinghua. It is the second year in my Ph. D program. I have a plan to visit the University of Michigan in the U.S. in August this year. I would like to improve my english writing ability before the trip. So please correct me when you feel free. My research interests are judicial politics and policy diffusion in China. And my dissertation focuses on the diffusion process of China's central government policies. I want to discover the mechanisms in this policy diffusion process with quantitative methods. I have collected a large number of government policy documents in all fields and departments. I plan to extract such variables as the policy publish date,  policy publish department, specific policy pattern and district characterics. The next task would be building a model including these variables.
