My daughter worked at other city. We have chatting by phone every week once or twice. We talk about everything-- Such as media, literature, music, juvenile delinquency, even homosexual. We love each other deeply, but we never say “I love you” in Chinese for each other. someday ,my daughter call me :”mum, are you all ok?””I am ok, what is matter?”I said. She told me sadly:” my friend’s mother suffer from stomach cancer. If you feel not well ,you must tell me early.”I am touched. Next morning, she sent me a message: “妈妈，我爱你！”。（mum, I love you!）.I want to say in my heart:“我也爱你，宝贝！”,but I shy to express in Chinese, finally I back to her: ”I love you too” in English.
